The Iterate Tab

Review designs on a zoomable canvas, leave pinpoint feedback, flag versions, and move a concept from v1 to final.

Iterate is the review room. It puts a single design version front and center on a zoomable canvas, so reviewers can leave pinpoint feedback and designers can push new versions until a concept is final.

Open it by clicking any iteration tile on the The Concepts Tab tab, or open the tab and pick a concept. Pan by dragging with the hand tool, and zoom with the controls in the bottom-left.

Annotate the design

The tool rail on the left turns the canvas into a review surface. Every annotation is anchored to the image, so it stays in the right spot as the design is zoomed or panned.

  1. Pin

Drop a numbered pin on an exact spot and attach a comment — "scale these logos up 15%".

  2. Region

Draw a box around an area that needs work.

  3. Sketch & highlight

Draw freehand on the design, or swipe a highlighter over part of it.

  4. Sticky

Drop a sticky note directly on the canvas for a longer thought.

Each tool has a single-key shortcut (shown in its tooltip). Select an annotation to move, resize, or delete it, and press Esc to drop back to the select tool.

Versions, flags, and branches

The action bar in the bottom-right controls the active version. It shows which sequence and version you are on, lets you add the next version (upload an image or pull one from Assets), and lets you flag the current version.

Flags mark where a version stands in review:

  • Approved — a reviewer signed off on this version.
  • Rejected — this version needs another round.
  • Final — the version that ships. A final iteration becomes the project's cover image.

Comments & branches panel

The panel on the right has two tabs. Comments lists every annotation and note on the current version, so you can read and resolve feedback without hunting across the canvas. Branches lets you jump between the concept's sequences and versions.

Common mistakes

Leaving vague feedback

"Make it pop" is hard to action. Drop a pin or region on the exact spot and say what should change — the designer sees precisely where you mean.

Never flagging a final

Flag the winning version Final. It sets the project's cover image and signals the design is done — and that cover is what surfaces back on the linked Idea.
