Creating Your First Idea
Create a new Idea in a Channel and fill in the fields that make it useful.
Ideas are the core planning object for videos. Create one when you have a video concept, draft title, sponsor pitch, thumbnail hook, or rough production plan to track.
- Open a Channel
Go to a Bluprint and choose the Channel where this Idea belongs.
- Open Create
Use the topbar Create button.
- Choose Idea
Select Idea to open a blank Idea Window.
- Add the useful basics
Start with the title, description, status, priority, assignee, and release platforms.
After the Idea is created, use the Idea Window to add custom field values, linked events, thumbnails, scripts, and tasks.
