Idea Window Overview
Learn what the Idea Window is, how to open it, and how the Fields tab organizes every field on an Idea.
The Idea Window is the focused workspace for one Idea. Anytime you open an Idea from the catalog, calendar, search, or a linked item, this is the window that appears.
The tabs across the top keep everything connected to the Idea in one place: Fields, Events, Thumbnails, Scripts, Video Reviews, and Tasks.
Fields Tab
The Fields tab shows every field on the Idea in one list. Bluprint starts you with a set of built-in fields — Title, Description, Status, Categories, Priority, Assigned To, and Release Platforms — and any fields you create sit in the same list, in whatever order you drag them into.
Drag a field by its label to reorder it. The order you set applies to every Idea in the Channel, everywhere the Idea Window opens.

Opening an Idea from a saved view
When you open an Idea from a row in the Idea Catalog, the Fields tab follows the saved view you were looking at: fields appear in the view's column order, and fields the view hides collapse into a hidden fields toggle at the bottom rather than disappearing — the Idea still has those values.
A chip at the top of the list names the view the layout came from. Open the same Idea from anywhere else — the dashboard, the calendar, search — and you get the Channel's own field order instead, with nothing hidden.
Because that layout belongs to the view, reordering is disabled while it is in effect. Change the column order in the catalog itself.
Field Menus
Each field has a small dropdown next to its label.
Built-in fields can be renamed, and optional ones can be removed from the Channel — removing hides the field everywhere in that Channel without deleting anything an Idea has already saved. Fields you created can be edited (name, description, type) or deleted outright.
Idea Actions
The context menu in the header contains actions for the whole Idea: duplicate, apply a template, make a template from the Idea, move it to another Channel, pin it, print it, archive it, or delete it.
