Comments with Annotations
Draw shapes and arrows over a video frame, then save the markup with a timed comment.
Annotations attach visual markup to a comment and a precise moment in the video. They are useful when a written description would take longer than simply drawing the change.
Add an annotation
Pause on the frame, begin a comment, and select the annotation button below the composer. Bluprint turns on the timestamp if needed and opens the drawing toolbar over the video.
Choose a drawing tool and color, then drag over the frame. The toolbar supports freehand drawing, arrows, rectangles, and ellipses. You can undo, redo, or clear the draft before selecting Done. Write the explanation in the comment and post it to save the markup.
You can add several marks to one comment. When editing a comment, reopen its annotation control to add, remove, or replace markup.
When annotations appear
Annotations belong to the version and timestamp where they were created. Selecting the comment seeks to that moment and reveals its markup. By default, annotation overlays appear while paused or while the comment is highlighted; the viewer settings let each viewer choose Always, On pause, or Highlighted only.
