Adding a Timestamp to Your Comments
Attach feedback to one frame or a precise time range and adjust that range on the seek bar.
A timestamp tells teammates exactly when feedback applies. Pause or seek to the relevant frame, then focus the comment composer. Timestamping is on by default, and the amber timecode at the start of the comment shows what will be saved.
Select the amber timestamp button to remove the timing, or select it again to attach the current playhead position. Removing a timestamp also removes an anchor or annotations attached to that comment, because those tools need a moment in the video.
Use the draft range
While a timestamped composer is focused, an amber draft range appears beneath the seek bar. It begins as a one-frame span at the playhead, which Bluprint displays as a single timestamp.
- Drag either handle to set the exact start or end.
- Drag the middle of the range to move the whole selection without changing its length.
- Hold Shift while dragging for slower, frame-accurate adjustment.
- Select the close control on the range to remove it from the draft.
The draft range also appears when you edit the timing of an existing comment. It disappears when the composer loses its active draft, you post or cancel the comment, or you remove the timestamp.
Revisit timed feedback
Posted comments add markers below the seek bar. Select a comment or marker to seek to its start. A ranged comment spans its full interval, so reviewers can see exactly how long the note applies.
