Roles and Permissions
Create roles, set default roles for new members, use templates, and assign access safely.
Roles group permissions into reusable access profiles. A member can have several roles, and Bluprint combines their permissions. Team owners always have full access.
Manage roles
Open Settings → Roles & Permissions under the Team section. Existing roles show a plain-language access summary, assigned-member count, and permission count.

Create a role from scratch, or open a role's menu to edit, duplicate, or delete it. Deleting a role immediately removes its permissions from assigned members.
Set defaults for new members
Use Default roles for new members to choose roles applied automatically when an invitation is accepted. Existing members are not changed, and Administrator roles cannot be automatic defaults.

Start with a template
Role templates cover common creator-Team jobs such as Administrator, Production Manager, Script Writer, Video Editor, Thumbnail Designer, and Thumbnail Lead. Selecting one opens it as a draft, so you can review every permission before creating the role.
In the role editor, capabilities group related product access. Open Advanced raw permissions only for narrow exceptions that a capability does not express cleanly.
Assign roles
Choose Manage members from the Assignments section, then use the role control on each member row. Use View access info from the member menu when you need to understand the combined result of all their roles.
