Importing Data into a Team
Bring Ideas or Calendar Events into Bluprint from CSV files or directly from Airtable.
Open Settings → Import under the Team section to move existing records into the selected workspace. Bluprint can import Ideas or Calendar Events from a CSV, or pull records directly from Airtable.

Choose a source
- CSV file works with spreadsheet exports from Notion, Airtable, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Monday, and Google Sheets.
- Airtable connects to your account and reads a selected base and table without an export step. Bluprint never writes back to Airtable.
- Direct Notion and ClickUp connections are marked Coming soon.
You need permission to create or update Ideas before starting an import.
Complete the import wizard
- Choose the record type and source
Select Ideas or Calendar Events, then upload a CSV or choose an Airtable workspace, base, and table.
- Choose the destination
Pick the Bluprint and Channel where the records should land. For dates, confirm the time zone used by the source.
- Map columns
Match source columns to Bluprint fields, create supported Custom fields, or ignore columns you do not need. Review low-confidence suggestions.
- Map values
When required, decide how select options, event types, and other distinct source values translate into Bluprint.
- Review the dry run
Check how many records will be created, which rows will be skipped, which categories or fields will be added, and which people could not be matched.
- Run the import
Keep the window open while Bluprint creates the records. The completion screen offers an immediate undo for this import session.

Prepare clean source data
Use one header row and consistent values in each column. Include a usable title for every record. Airtable linked-record columns arrive as record IDs and attachments as filenames, so map those deliberately or leave them out.
If the review identifies skipped rows, download them, fix the source, and import that smaller file later.
