Action History
Use Action History to undo, redo, review, and roll back recent workspace actions.
Action History is the safety net for everyday editing in Bluprint. It keeps a timeline of recent actions from your current browser so you can undo mistakes, redo changes, or roll back to an earlier point in your work.
Most create, update, and delete actions managed by Bluprint's entity system are undoable. That includes common changes to Ideas, Calendar Events, Scripts, tasks, and other workspace records.

What Action History Is For
Use Action History when you changed something and want a quick way back.
Common examples:
- You edited the wrong Idea status.
- You deleted something and immediately want to restore it.
- You changed several fields and want to compare what happened.
- You want to roll the current browser session back to a previous action.
Undo and Redo
Open the Action History button in the topbar.
Use Undo to reverse the most recent undoable action. Use Redo to reapply an action you just undid.
You can also use keyboard shortcuts:
- Ctrl+Z to undo.
- Ctrl+Y or Ctrl+⇧+Z to redo.
Review the Timeline
Open Timeline & Log to see recent actions in order. The log shows what changed, when it happened, and whether the entry is the current state.

Click an entry to expand it. For update actions, Bluprint can show changed fields, previous values, and new values.
Roll Back to an Earlier Action
Expanded timeline entries can roll the local state backward or forward. This is useful when several changes happened in a row and undoing one at a time would be slower.
Before rolling back, check the entry label and timestamp. Rollbacks apply the same underlying undo/redo behavior as the main buttons, so they should be treated like editing actions.
History Settings
The settings page controls how many actions Bluprint keeps in local storage.

Shorter history is simpler. Longer history gives you more room to recover from a sequence of changes.
Common Mistakes
Expecting Action History to sync across devices
It is intentionally local to the browser. If you switch computers, browsers, or clear site storage, that local timeline will not be available.
Using Action History as a permanent audit log
Use it for short-term recovery while editing. It is not meant to replace team activity, comments, or assignments.
