The Bluprint AI Panel
Use the right-side Bluprint AI panel to ask questions, search workspace context, attach records or files, and confirm suggested actions.
The Bluprint AI panel is the right-side assistant you can use while you work in Bluprint. It understands the page you are on, can answer questions about your workspace, and can help with actions that would otherwise require clicking through several screens.
Open it from the Bluprint AI button in the topbar.

What the Panel is For
Use the panel when you want to:
- Ask how to use a Bluprint feature.
- Search for workspace records by meaning, not only by exact title.
- Summarize or reason about the Channel, Idea, Script, Thumbnail project, or page you are viewing.
- Attach specific workspace records, files, or images as extra context.
- Review suggested changes before confirming them.
- Continue an earlier AI chat without leaving your current workspace.

Start a Useful Chat
When the panel is empty, it shows a few suggested prompts. These suggestions change based on where you are working, so a Channel, Idea, Script, or settings page may offer different starting points.

You can also type your own request in the composer. A good prompt usually includes the goal and the object you care about:
- "Find my high-priority ideas that do not have release dates."
- "Summarize this script and suggest a stronger hook."
- "Help me set up an automation for approved thumbnail projects."
- "Where do I manage my subscription?"
Add Context
Use the button in the composer when the AI needs more than the current page.

You can add:
- An entity from the Search Window, such as an Idea, Script, Channel, Bluprint, Calendar Event, or Thumbnail Project.
- A file or image from your computer.
- A Google Drive file when Google Drive is connected.
- A Dropbox file through the Dropbox picker.
Readable file uploads support text, Markdown, CSV, TSV, JSON, log, and RTF files. Image uploads support PNG, JPG, JPEG, WebP, and GIF. Large files may be clipped or rejected, so attach the smallest useful file when possible.
Work With Chat History
The panel header shows the active chat. Open the chat switcher to return to a recent conversation, or use the button beside it to start fresh.
Start a new chat when you are changing topics. Keep using the same chat when you are refining the same request or following up on the same work.
Confirm Actions
Bluprint AI may suggest actions it can apply for you. When that happens, review the card in the conversation before choosing Confirm action.
If the suggestion is not right, dismiss it and ask for a correction. The panel is designed so meaningful workspace changes go through a review step first.
Resize or Close the Panel
Drag the left edge of the panel to resize it. Use the close button in the header to hide it and return the workspace to full width.
When the panel is open, the page URL includes the active AI state. That makes it easier to keep the panel open while navigating or refreshing.
Common Mistakes
Asking about an item that is not open or attached
If the AI answers too generally, open the item you mean or attach it with the Add context menu, then ask again.
Using one long chat for unrelated work
Long chats are useful for follow-up questions, but unrelated topics are easier to manage as separate chats.
Confirming an action before reading the preview
The confirmation step is there so you can check what will change. Pause on the preview before applying it.
