The Manage Fields Window
Manage base Idea fields, custom fields, calendar event types, categories, and templates for a Channel.
The Manage Fields window controls the field and object setup for a Channel. Open it from Channel menus, field management buttons, or places that need Channel-specific configuration.
Base Idea Fields
Base Idea Fields are the standard fields that can appear on every Idea: Title, Description, Status, Categories, Priority, Assigned To, Release Platforms, and other built-in fields. Use this page to show or hide hideable base fields for the Channel.
Custom Fields
Custom Fields are fields you create for this Channel. Use them for sponsor status, owner, thumbnail status, format, budget, or any workflow-specific metadata.
Calendar Event Types
Calendar Event Types lets you change colors for default event types and create custom event types for this Channel.
Categories
Categories are reusable labels for Ideas in the Channel. Rename, create, or delete them here.
Templates
Templates are reusable Ideas. Use this page to create, open, or delete templates that belong to the Channel.
